Wrist

Wrist injuries are often as a result of repetitive use, eg when using a computer mouse or playing a musical instrument. The wrist tendons become inflamed and sore, and your movements will be restricted. Physiotherapy will help by decreasing the inflammation and with specific exercises to help strengthen the wrist and regain full function. We will also give you postural and ergonomic advice to help you prevent the injury from reoccurring.

Wrists can often be sprained or even fractured, through falling on an outstretched hand. Once the wrist is out of plaster, physiotherapy will help with strengthening and mobility exercises to get you back to full function.
