PhysioActive is proud to be looking after some of the UK’s up and coming
athletes.
“PhysioActive has been an integral part of my training and conditioning
in my windsurfing career for the past 8 years. I started visiting PhysioActive
with terrible recurring lower back pain but very quickly I experienced
less and less pain as I became stronger, fitter and more stable on the
board. I was able to haul my sails around on the beach and the water
with confidence that my body could take it. I have also improved on my
performance considerably as a result of being stronger and increasing
my core stability. I have gone from being in the top 5 in the UK, to
now having 10 British Windsurfing Championship titles and a World ranking
of 4th under my belt. I couldn't have done it without PhysioActive!"

"I would like to say a really big thank you to Chris, Jim and all
the staff at PhysioActive. Without their support over the past 4 years
I would not be skiing and racing at an international level today. They
have helped me overcome many injuries, both severe and minor, and helped
me keep my motivation at a premium when most needed. The support is endless
and advice is never more than a phone call away. This has ensured that
I’m skiing to my highest potential and reaching my goals on and off the
slopes."

Over the past year, PhysioActive has helped us enormously with our fitness
and athletic strength levels. By following their specific strength
and conditioning programmes our overall condition has improved beyond
our hopes. Now, we are managing to prevent our old injuries from reoccurring.
We really couldn’t perform at our current international level without
their expertise and advice. Thank you PhysioActive

“I'm fortunate to be a part of the World Class Lifting (WCL) squad actively
training towards competing at the 2012 London Olympics and, before that,
the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
As with any other sportsperson, I am prone to niggling strains and injuries
that need prompt and effective attention because if left unchecked, they
could lead to something more serious and affect my training. That would
be the last thing I need if I'm to achieve my ambitions!
It's great that WCL referred me to PhysioActive because it means I get
first class treatment locally whenever I need it, in a friendly environment.
I always see the same physio (Chris Boynes) which means I have continuity
of care and know that he is fully aware of my sporting needs.”
